Sniveling Leftists Still Don't Get It

Some self-righteous beta male writing a piece for the Huffington Post is taking it upon himself to heal the wounds of the election.  Read on.  Excerpts from his article in italics, my responses embolden.

To My Friends And Family Who Voted For Trump

I want to help bring us back together, but I need your help with a couple of things.

First, we need to talk about the elephant in the room. Trump has said some awful things. His recording describing sexual assault, calling immigrants rapists, and mocking disabled people are just a few of the many inappropriate things he has done these last few months.

Let's start a conversation by you conceding to me every complaint I've had about Trump the entire election, regardless of veracity.

You can see it in extreme cases, but it is there. The previously quiet and voiceless extremists, the KKK, the neo-Nazis, and just your garden variety closeted racist, they think they have found a voice in Trump. And the sad reality, even if you believe he doesn’t stand for that himself, he has yet to stand in opposition of it. And we need him to. We need you to constantly hold him to the high moral standards that you yourself uphold.

Again, we level accusations and then, rather than re-evaluating our positions once we see millions of Americans who support Trump (and a larger share of women and minorities than Mitt Romney), we will demand that you conform to our understanding of the past 18 months and our definition of morality.

Next, we really need you to stop it with the posts calling the losers “whiny.”

Haha, really?  I can think of a few better words to describe these people, but they may violate your safe space.

Trump was elected to become president of the United States by the so-called “silent majority,” and I’m asking you to stop being silent. America needs you to stand up against racism and sexism. I know you are against those things, so please stop defending them.

Oh, you know us, huh?  It's our responsibility to assuage the tender feelings of the gullible kids that people like you stirred up into uncontrollable outbursts?

I know how hard this can be.

Do you?  Have you been called a racist, sexist, homophobe, Islamaphobe, and hate-monger for the past year and a half?  Do you run any risk at all in your personal circles or your workplace for admitting support of a particular candidate, even after the candidate won?  You dummy.  Your efforts at sympathy are as fraudulent and meaningless as your Psych degree.

Summary:

They still don't get it, do they? They still want us to engage them on their terms, in a context that will submit to their fragile sensibilities. They still don't admit the possibility they may be wrong about Trump, his supporters, or the movement.

And they still maintain the unbearable air of superiority that made Trump supporters so eager to see Hillary and her supporters lose.

Get lost, loser.  Go whine to the hoaxing media who whipped you up into such a frenzy you needed a box of tissues the night of the election.

Thank God the adults are back in charge.  Party's over, kids.
